ORGANIZATIONAL STUCTURE OF THE FOREST DISTRICT

The Forest District is fundamental, independent organizational unit of State Forests pursuant to the Forest Act. It is subordinated to the Regional Directorate of State Forests, which supervises and coordinates all the actions within its territory. The Forest Districts are divided into the Forest Ranger Areas.

 

District Forest Manager – manages the whole activity of the Forest District Nowa Sól and is responsible for the mentioned Forest District outside.

 

Deputy District Forest Manager– manages the affairs connected with the production zone in the forest district, is responsible for appropriate organization and  implementation of planning, and performance of tasks related to the forest management.

 

The Supervising Engineer– the worker of internal control, who carries out the control over the correctness of forestry operations performance  in the forest district.

 
The Chief Accountant is responsible for  all matters connected with correct functioning of the forest district in respect of economic and legal cases, as regards financial and accounting, accounting and economical planning, analyses, financial reporting, as well as, the chief organizes and carries out the  internal control of  accounting and financial documents of the forest district.
 

Administration Department Manager – is responsible for all the things connected with the whole administrative services of the forest district and for managing all the investments and repair works.

 

Forest Management Department – deals with all the matters connected with planning, organizing, coordinating and supervising works in selection and seed production, silviculture, forest protection (including fire protection), nature preservation and development of tourist facilities, hunting, and many other sections of forest development facilities,  forest management, as well as selling wood and non-timber forest products, administering forest and wood portal and e-wood (e-drewno) portal, and finally dealing with all cases concerning local taxes (including rural and forest). This department also runs  things related to possessions, such as renting and lease, land register and make forest available, realise educational programme tasks based on nature and forest knowledge in cooperation with media, schools and local authorities.

 

Forest Ranger Areas– are the basic unit fields in the forest district, where forest management is conducted directly. The forest ranger area is managed by the sub-district forest manager .

 
Financial and accounting Department is run by the Chief Accountant. It conducts all matters connected with accounting, finances, accounting and economical planning, analyses, reporting as well as, organizes and carries out the  internal control of  accounting and financial documents of the forest district.
 

Administration and Management Department– is managed by the forest district Secretary. Secretary deals with all the things connected with the whole administrative services of the forest district, estate administering, preparing and completion of the construction project plans and purchasing  fix assets or repair plan in infrastructure.

 

Forest Service Guard Station– is managed by the Chief Commander of the Forest Service Guard. The station duties are connected particularly  with: conducting all the issues concerning the state of danger analysis caused by forest poaching, prevention, combating crimes and infringements as regards forest poaching, and preparing reports in that field, and finally controlling the gun storage. Duties included in responsibilities are defined by regulations and decisions, internal instructions of  National Forest Holding "State Forests" , work schedules, and current instructions of a direct supervisor or high-rank superior. Another competence of the Forest Service Guard  is preparation of reliable, complete and current public information concerning their actions published on Public Information Bulletin website.

 

Personnel Officer-  controls all the matters connected with employee issues in the meaning of the provisions of Labour Code, Collective Labour Agreement for National Forest Holding "State Forests" workers and deals with general formal and organised activities within functioning of the forest district. Personnel officer is particularly obliged to maintain personal data records related to personnel management and social matters.
